Fancy Recipe: Chocolate-Dipped Pretzels December 17, 2010
Every year, I like to give handmade Christmas gifts. This year, I decided to imitate Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory’s hand-dipped chocolate pretzels, and they turned out great! I wrapped them in mini cellophane bags tied with bells and packaged them in fun, decorative tins I found in the $1 section at Target.
Here’s the recipe:
1 bag chocolate chips
1 tablespoon Crisco
Large stick pretzels
Your choice of topping (crushed candy cane, M&Ms, nuts, etc.)
- Mix chocolate chips and Crisco and microwave 1 minute. Stir. Continue to microwave and stir the mixture until it’s liquidy.
- Dip pretzel; shake off excess chocolate.
- Cover in topping.
- Place on cookie sheet.
